Dry eyes

Dry eye disease is more than just occasional discomfort — it’s a chronic condition that can affect your vision, productivity, and quality of life. If you’ve been struggling with dry, gritty, or burning eyes, you may be eligible to participate in a research study evaluating new treatments for dry eye syndrome.

What Are Dry Eyes?
Dry eyes occur when your eyes don’t produce enough tears, or when the tears evaporate too quickly. This can lead to inflammation, irritation, and long-term damage to the surface of the eye.

Common symptoms include:

  • Burning, stinging, or scratchy sensation
  • Redness or blurred vision
  • Feeling like something is in your eye
  • Sensitivity to light
  • Watery eyes (a sign of irritation)

You may qualify if you:

  • Are 18 years or older
  • Have been diagnosed with dry eye disease or have symptoms
  • Use artificial tears or eye drops regularly
  • Are not getting enough relief from current treatments

Why Participate in a Dry Eye Study?

  • Access to new investigational therapies not yet available to the public
  • No-cost eye exams, testing, and follow-up
  • Support the development of more effective treatments for millions affected by dry eye

Compensation may be provided for time and travel. TBD
